How Megaways Changes Eye of Horus
The first game used 10 fixed lines on a 5x3 layout. This Megaways version removes paylines completely. Every reel can display a different number of symbols each spin. Wins are counted across consecutive reels starting from the leftmost one.
Big Time Gaming developed the Megaways system and licenses it out. Blueprint combined it here with Eye of Horus symbols and features. You get the same core game but with many more chances for symbols to line up.
- Wins need three or more matching symbols on adjacent reels from reel 1
- The ways count rises and falls with the height of each reel
- The top count of 15,625 appears when the reels reach full height
- The tablet symbols, royals and temple door scatter all carry over
Expanding Horus Wilds
In this game, the Horus wild can appear on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5. When it lands, it expands to cover the entire reel as a stacked wild. A tall reel that becomes fully wild can create many winning combinations at once.

The wild replaces all regular symbols but not the temple door scatter. Two or more expanding wilds in a single spin can connect symbols from the first reel to the last. This is the key feature in the base game, as Megaways adds no other base game modifiers here.
Free Games and the Upgrade Meter
Land three or more temple door scatters anywhere on screen to trigger the bonus round, awarding up to 12 Free Games. Extra scatters on the triggering spin increase the scatter payout instead of giving more spins. Game listings show a win of up to 100x your bet for six scatters.
During free spins, a meter showing premium tablets sits above the grid. If one or more expanding wilds land on reel 2, 3, or 4, the lowest tablet symbol upgrades to the next higher one. Up to five symbols can be improved this way.
Each upgrade removes a lower-value symbol from the reels for the rest of the bonus. With fewer symbol types in play, the remaining high-value symbols can form wins across more ways.
| 3+ scatters in the base game | Up to 12 Free Games begin |
| Wild on reel 2, 3 or 4 | Lowest tablet upgrades one step |
| 1 Horus wild in view | 1 extra Free Game |
| 2 Horus wilds in view | 3 extra Free Games |
| 3 Horus wilds in view | 5 extra Free Games |
Max Win and RTP Settings
Game listings show a top prize of 10,000x your total bet. Blueprint does not state a maximum win on its own site, so consider this figure a reference point. At the highest stake of $10, 10,000x would pay $100,000.

The RTP depends on the casino. Blueprint publishes four settings, and the operator chooses which to run. The game info screen shows the active number.
| Default build | 95.49% |
| Alternative 1 | 93% |
| Alternative 2 | 92% |
| Alternative 3 | 90% |
