Starting the Free Play Session
The game launches right in your browser. No download, registration or payment is required. If you see a static image, click its button to open the same demo in a fresh tab.
- Press play on the demo screen and wait for the temple to load
- Open the bet panel and choose a total stake
- Press spin and watch reels 2, 3 and 4 for the Horus wild
- Open the info menu to view the paytable and line map
- Reload the page when the play balance runs low
Reading the Screen
New players tend to miss two details. The wild never shows up on reels 1 or 5, and the upgrade meter only appears during Free Games. Knowing where to look makes the demo far easier to follow.
| Reels 2, 3 and 4 | The only reels where Horus can land |
| Temple door symbol | The scatter that starts Free Games |
| Tablet meter (Free Games) | Which symbols have already been upgraded |
| Free Games counter | Spins left, including extra games from Horus |
| Paytable in the menu | Line wins scaled to your current stake |
Free Play Against Real Stakes
The mathematics for both versions are identical. What varies is the balance and the RTP setting each casino selects. Blueprint offers multiple RTP options for this title, so a casino's info screen might show a different figure than the demo.
| Aspect | Demo | Real money |
|---|---|---|
| Balance | Play credits | Your own funds |
| Account | Not needed | Required |
| RTP | 96.31% default build | 96.31% or a lower setting (90.25% to 94%) |
| Stakes | Same stake levels | $0.10 - $100 |
| Free Games and upgrades | Fully active | Fully active |
| Wins | Cannot be withdrawn | Credited to your balance |
A Three-Session Practice Plan
Breaking your demo time into short sessions reveals more than one long play. Each session below focuses on a distinct game aspect. Use the same stake for all three to compare results easily.
- Session 1, base game: count how many spins pass between expanding wilds
- Session 2, Free Games: watch how many tablets get upgraded in each round
- Session 3, budget: start with a fixed play amount and note how long it lasts
Once you finish the three sessions, you'll understand how the bonus appears for you and how your play balance fluctuates. That knowledge is key before placing any real bet.
What the Upgrade Ladder Looks Like
The core of Eye of Horus is the tablet meter in Free Games. Whenever one or more Horus wilds hit reels 2, 3 or 4, the lowest premium tablet advances to the next higher symbol. Up to five upgrades can occur in a single round.
The demo is ideal for watching this ladder fill. Later upgrades leave fewer symbol types on the reels, making line wins more likely in the final spins. Horus wilds also grant extra Free Games: one wild gives 1 more, two give 3 and three give 5.
Other Eye of Horus Demos
Blueprint has created an entire series based on the original game. Each version retains the Horus wild and upgrade concept, but alters the grid or the bonus features.
| Eye of Horus Megaways | 6 reels and up to 15,625 ways |
| The Golden Tablet | Wilds upgrade symbols straight to the top tablet |
| Power 4 Slots | Four reel sets spin at once |
| Jackpot King | Linked progressive pots on any spin |
